Affordable Jewish Education Project the future of jewish education starts now

digital differentiated education

AJE works to create a network of schools that are implementing models of affordable and sustainable Jewish education. One of the ways that we help to make schools more affordable, while maintaining a high quality education is by implementing digital differentiation in the classroom.

What is Digital Differentiated Education?

Digital differentiated instruction utilizes digital content to maximize differentiation in a classroom. Differentiated instruction is a teaching theory based on the premise that instructional approaches should vary and be adapted in relation to individual and diverse students in classrooms. The intent of differentiating instruction is to maximize each student’s growth and individual success by meeting each student where he or she is and assisting in the learning process. Our partner schools utilize this educational method in their classrooms.

Effects of Digital Differentiation

By employing digital differentiated education in classrooms, schools can more effectively differentiate education, without increasing costs. Children at different levels can learn in the same classroom, reducing the need for remedial and enrichment classrooms. Using digital content, teachers can more easily differentiate than they could previously, ensuring efficiency in the classroom. With this model, schools are able to provide an individualized high-quality education for each student, while significantly cutting costs.

Impact
